DynamicRT Compliance Program

DynamicRT ensures respiratory therapy program compliance specific to MDS guidelines by providing continuous monitoring of qualifying diagnosis, orders and admin records. Under PDPM, starting respiratory therapy within 24-hours of admission is required to ensure the 7-day, 15-minute a day capture required for the initial MDS assessment. Dynamic’s two-step approach provides nurses and MDS coordinators support to meet the strict requirements.

• Continuous Identification: Dynamic’s respiratory therapists remotely monitor the patient population and identify patients appropriate for respiratory therapy assessment via remote chart reviews. Respiratory therapy recommendations are communicated to nursing via EHR, phone and email. Nursing then contacts the MD for order approval.

• Daily Verification: Once approved, Dynamic remotely monitors documentation, patient condition and regulatory compliance and provides daily alerts if documentation does not meet MDS coding criteria. Alerts are communicated via email and phone.
